Healthcare outfits donated to Navy by “Manusath Derana” programme
A stock of healthcare outfits required to be used in the campaigns carried out by the Navy to control the coronavirus in the country, was donated to the Navy by the “Manusath Derana” programme, at Naval Headquarters, today (28th April 2020).
The Navy is carrying out a number of programmes to control the spread of the coronavirus in the country. In collaboration with these programmes conducted by the Navy to suppress fatal virus, “Manusath Derana” programme donated a stock of healthcare outfits to the Navy, today. The donation was taken over by Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva and it was handed over by the Chairman of Derana Media Network Mr. Dilith Jayaweera, Executive Director/Chief Operations Officer Mr. Madawa Madawala, Deputy General Manager Mahesh Jayawardena and other representatives of Derara Media Network.
Further, Commander of the Navy expressed his gratitude for this worthy contribution to the Chairman of Derana Media Network, the representatives and the team of “Manusath Derana” , on behalf of the Navy.
