A person associated with COVID-19 infected victim directed for quarantine

A resident of Ja Ela area who had associated with a COVID-19 infected victim, was directed for quarantine by the Navy on 20^th April 2020.

Naval intelligence operations have been launched in search of people in Colombo who had close contacts with individuals contracted coronavirus. By these operations many individuals had been detected and they were directed to quarantine centres by the Navy during fast few days.

Accordingly, another person who had close contacts with coronavirus affected people, was identified at Ja Ela area on 20^th April 2020. In view of health concerns and safety of the residents in the area, after a complete decontamination procedure, this person was sent to quarantine in the Naval quarantine centre established at the Oluvil harbour premises.
