Navy finds four 60mm mortar grenades in Wattakandai area

During a search conducted in Wattakandai area on 10^th April 2020, the Navy managed to find four 60mm mortar grenades.

These 04 mortar grenades which had been excessively corroded were found near a farm, by naval personnel attached to the North Central Naval Command. It is suspected that these mortar bombs were abandoned during the humanitarian operation. The items were handed over to the Adampan Police for onward investigation.
