Navy apprehends 03 persons for suspicious behaviour

Sri Lanka Navy apprehended 03 persons in Mannar area for their suspicious behaviour today (24^th March 2020).

Accordingly, a group of naval personnel attached to the North Central Naval Command in coordination with the Mannar Police made this apprehension today. During further interrogation, the security personnel managed to reveal their identity, as Indian nationals. The suspects are from 20 to 30 years of age and they have arrived in the island on 13^th March 2020.

The Mannar Police is conducting further investigation into the incident. Further, the 03 suspect will be directed to go through self-quarantining in the custody of Mannar Police.
