Captain Rajapriya Serasinghe takes over command of SLNS ‘Sindurala’

Captain Rajapriya Serasinghe assumed duties as the new Commanding Officer of the Sri Lanka Navy’s Advanced Offshore Patrol Vessel, SLNS ‘Sindurala’ today (20^th March 2020).

The command of the ship was officially handed over to the new Commanding Officer by the former Commanding Officer, Captain Chinthaka Kumarasinghe at the Colombo harbour premises. The outgoing Commanding Officer was accorded a Guard of Honour. Deputy Area Commander (West), Commodore Bandula Senarathna was also present on this occasion where he presented a memento to Captain Chinthaka Kumarasinghe.

Meanwhile, the proceedings of the event concluded with the inspection of divisions and address to the crew by the new Commanding Officer.
