Navy recovers claymore mine at Wadduvakal beach

SL Navy recovered a claymore mine at Wadduvakal beach in Mulativu, on 14^th March 2020.

In view of conserving the marine ecosystem Navy regularly conducts beach cleaning activities. During such beach cleaning programme conducted by Naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command at Wadduvakal beach in Mulativu, Claymore mine was recovered and it was taken into naval custody.

The recovered claymore mine has been kept in safe custody of the Navy for further investigation
