HMAS "Parramatta" leaves port of Colombo after successful Naval exercise
Royal Australian Navy ship "Parramatta" which engaged in a Naval exercise with Sri Lankan Navy ships, left the port of Colombo on 11th March 2020.
HMAS "Parramatta" which arrived in Sri Lanka on last 7th March 2020, participated in a Naval exercise with Sri Lanka Navy ships SLNS 'Sindurala' and SLNS 'Nandimithra' in the seas off Colombo. The exercise paved the way for enhancing cooperation between the two countries while exchanging their knowledge and experiences.
During her five-day goodwill visit in the island, the crew members took part in several programmes organized by Sri Lanka Navy. Meanwhile, the officers and sailors of ‘Parramatta’ were grateful to the SL Navy for those opportunities.
On successful completion of its five-day tour, the Royal Australian Navy ship ‘Parramatta’ left the port of Colombo amidst the customary farewell of SL Navy.
