Navy wins 02 awards at SLT Zero One Awards

Sri Lanka Navy won 02 awards under Government Institution and NGO category at the SLT Zero One Awards for Digital Excellence 2018/19 organized by Sri Lanka Telecom for the third time.

The SLT Zero One Awards for Digital Excellence 2018/19 was organized to recognize institutions, individuals and brands for achievements and a team of Navy’s Information Technology branch took part in the competition. Accordingly, the Navy emerged winners as the Best Digital Media Agency and secured the 2^nd runner-up position in Best Digital Enabled Product/Service.

Sri Lanka Navy’s Desktop Publishing Unit and Software Development Unit of IT Directorate played a noteworthy role to achieve this significant feat. Previously, the official website of the Sri Lanka Navy was also adjudged the most popular government website at the Best Web Competition 2019.
