New STF Commandant calls on Commander of the Navy

The new Commandant of the Police Special Task Force (STF), Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Lionel Gunathilake visited the Naval Headquarters today ( 04^th March 2020).

The visiting DIG was warmly received to the Naval Headquarters in compliance with naval traditions. This also marked his first official visit to the Naval Headquarters, upon assumption of duties as the Commandant of the Police Special Task Force.

During the cordial discussions endued Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva and DIG Lionel Gunathilake shared a couple of views between them on matters which are important to both organizations. Mementoes were also exchanged to mark the importance of this occasion.
