Captain Thushara Udugama assumes command as Commanding Officer of SLNS Parakramabahu

Captain Thushara Udugama assumed duties as Commanding Officer of SLNS Parakramabahu, one of the Advance Offshore Patrol Vessels belonging to the Sri Lanka Navy on 03^rd March 2020.

Accordingly, the former Commanding Officer of the ship, Captain Nalindra Jayasinghe formally handed over the duties of the position to its new Commanding Officer at the Naval Dockyard in Trincomalee.

The occasion was also attended by the Flag Officer Commanding Naval Fleet, Rear Admiral Upul De Silva. The proceedings of the event came to a close after an inspection of divisions by the new Commanding Officer.
