Rowing Championship of 11^th Defence Services Meet successfully came to a close

The Rowing Championship of the 11^th Defence Services Meet which was organized by the SL Navy for the sixth time, worked off for three days from 29^th February to 2^nd March 2020 at Diywanna water Sports Centre.

This national rowing event was participated by many players representing Tri Forces and navy contestants were able to win two gold medals and one bronze medal.

Deputy Chief of Staff and Commander Northern Naval Area Rear Admiral Kapila Samaraweera graced the prize awarding ceremony as the Chief Guest. Certificates and the awards for the winners were given away by the chief guest.Senior and junior officers and sailors of SL Navy as well as senior and junior officers and other ranks of SL Army and SL Air Force were also present on this occasion.
