Two persons with Kerala Cannabis apprehended by Navy’s assistance

The Navy in coordination with the Police apprehended two persons with 500g of Kerala cannabis, during a raid carried in Kabithigollewa area, today ( 2^nd March 2020).

Naval personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command in coordination with Police STF-Kabithigollewa conducted a search operation in Kabithigollewa area and two suspicious persons travelling along the road were spotted. The suspects were searched and recovered about 500g of Kerala cannabis which had secretly kept in their possession and accordingly the suspects with the amount of KG were apprehended. The suspects were identified as residents of the same area both aged 21.

Apprehended suspects and amount of KG were handed over to Kabithigollewa Police for further investigation.
