Navy excels at Commander’s Cup annual golf tournament-2020

Sri Lanka Navy golf players excelled in their talents at the Commander’s Cup annual golf tournament-2020 hosted by Sri Lanka Air Force, held at the Eagles Golf Link in China Bay, Trincomalee on 22^nd February 2020.

Lieutenant Commander Harsha Udawatta of Sri Lanka Navy emerged as the champion in the defence category of Tri Forces Eagles Challenge Trophy, securing the highest marks of 35 points and also receiving the award for longest drive while Lieutenant Commander Ruwan Rathnayaka of SL Navy emerged as the runner-up. It was significant that Lieutenant Commander Harsha Udawatta who won the championship in 2018, became the champion in 2020 too, for the second time in this tournament.

The presentation of awards took place on the same day evening at Club House Eagles Golf Link- China Bay and it was graced by Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Sumangla Dias.
