Zambian Army Commander Lieutenant General WM Sikazwe visits the Eastern Naval Command

The Commander of the Zambian Army Lieutenant General WM Sikazwe with a delegation of Zambian Army who are on an official visit to Sri Lanka, visited the Eastern Naval Command, today (23^rd February 2020).

The visiting Zambian Army Chief was received to the Eastern Naval Command by the Deputy Area Commander Commodore Sanjeewa Dias.

Thereafter, Lieutenant General WM Sikazwe and the delegation visited the Naval and Maritime Academy. They were welcomed by the Commandant NMA Commodore Prasanna Mahavithana and they held a discussion on training matters at the Commandant's conference hall with the participation of the directing staff. They also exchanged mementos to signify the occasion. Further, the delegation paid visits to training schools in the Academy and OICs of respective schools briefed on the training process of their schools to the delegation.

Lieutenant General WM Sikazwe and the delegation also joined a tour inside the Trincomalee harbour premises.
