Navy rescues woman at risk of drowning

The Navy rescued a woman at risk of drowning in the sea area of sangamamgramam, Thirukkovil on 18^th February 2020.

The woman had unexpectedly swept away by sea waves, while bathing in sangamamgramam sea area. Having noticed the woman in trouble, naval personnel who were cleaning the above beach area had promptly rescued her and rushed her to the Thirukkovil Hospital for further treatment.

The rescued woman has been identified as a resident of the same area, aged 68.
