Defence Adviser of British High Commission calls on Commander Eastern Naval Area

Colonel David Ashman, the Defence Adviser at the British High Commission in Sri Lanka met the Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Merril Wickramasinghe today (15^th February 2020).

A group of officers including the Colonel David Ashman, the Defence Adviser at the British High Commission in Sri Lanka, during their visit to the Special Boat Squadron HQ, took time off to call on Commander Eastern Naval Area, Rear Admiral Merril Wickramasinghe at the Eastern Naval Command Headquarters today. The delegation was warmly received by Rear Admiral Merril Wickramasinghe and a cordial discussion ensued on several matters of bilateral importance.

The cordial discussion concluded with a presentation of a memento. Colonel David Ashman also left his remarks in the Visitors’ Book prior to the departure.
