Captain Pujitha Sugathadasa assumes office as NOIC Welisara

Captain (G) Pujitha Sugathadasa assumed office as the new Naval Officer in-charge (NOIC) of the Welisara Naval Complex on 14^th February 2020.

Accordingly, his predecessor Commodore Pradeep Rathnayake formally handed over the duties of the position to the newly appointed NOIC of the Welisara Naval Complex. Meanwhile, Commodore Pradeep Rathnayake was accorded a Guard of Honour, in compliance with naval traditions.

The occasion was also attended by all Commanding Officers, a cross section of officers and sailors attached to the Welisara Naval Complex.
