Commander Geeth Jayalath assumes duties as Commanding Officer of SLNS Edithara II

Commander Geeth Jayalath assumed duties as the new Commanding Officer of the Fast Gun Boat, SLNS Edithara II, today (14^th February 2020).

The former Commanding Officer of the ship, Commander Mohomad Arsad officially handed over the duties to the new Commanding Officer at the parade ground of the Western Naval Command Head Quarters.

Representing the FOCNF the Deputy Area Commander Western Naval Command Commodore Sunil Senarathna was also present on this occasion. The proceedings of the occasion came to a close after the inspection of divisions by the new Commanding Officer.
