Navy volunteers to clean Thalaimannar Pier railway station

Naval personnel, showing their care for public property, volunteered to clean the Thalaimannar Pier railway station on 11^th February 2020.

Following the directives of Commander North Central Naval Area, this programme was carried out to clean the Thalaimannar Pier railway station which had stayed untidy over a long period of time due to various reasons.

This praiseworthy task was joined by naval personnel attached to SLNS Thammanna and their effort was highly appreciated by the railway staff and residents in the area.
