Richmond College, Galle receives mechanical equipment from Navy

The Navy, on 06^th February 2020, handed over a set of cast-off engines and technical equipment to the Richmond College, Galle.

Upon a request made by Mr. Sampath Weragoda, the Principal of the Richmond College, this donation was made by Commander Southern Naval Command with the consent of Commander of the Navy.

These equipment will be extremely vital to the school students who are following Technology as a subject, to hone their practical learning, identify the parts of the machinery and learn how assembly is done. Meanwhile, the Principal and students of the school expressed their gratitude to the Navy for making this donation.

Commander Southern Naval Area, Heads of Departments and a group of senior officers were also present on this occasion.
