Suspicious dinghy and several diving equipment held by Navy in Gintota

During a search operation conducted in Gintota area, Galle on 05^th February 2020, the Navy found a suspicious dinghy and several diving equipment near an uninhabited house.

The Navy has been conducting regular operations to prevent harmful effects on marine resources, caused by illegal fishing practices. During a similar operation conducted in Gintota area, the Navy managed to recover this dinghy and diving equipment.

Meanwhile, the ding and rest of the items were kept in naval custody in order to carry out further investigation.
