Russian Land Force Commander meets Commander of the Navy

The Commander-in-Chief of the Land Forces of Russian Federation General of the Army Oleg Salyukov met Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva at the Naval Headquarters today (05^th February 2020).

The visiting General of the Army of the Russian Federation was accorded a Guard of Honour in compliance with naval tradition upon his arrival and the senior officer subsequently held a cordial discussion on several matters of bilateral importance, with the Navy Commander.

Mementoes were also exchanged between the top military brass to signify the importance of this occasion, before they posed for a group photograph.
