Navy assists douse fire broke out at ice cream stall

A sudden fire that broke out at an ice cream stall in Pothuvil, was doused with the assistance provided by the Navy on 2^nd February 2020.

Based on information disseminated by the Pothuvil Police, the Navy promptly sent out a fire fighting team comprised of a fire engine and a water bowser attached to SLNS Mahanaga. With much effort, the Navy fire fighters managed to extinguish the flames completely.

Further, Navy will always be in front line to assists the general public under any disastrous situation in the country.
