Commander of the Navy declares open Senior Sailors’ Married Quarters Complex in Welisara

The newly constructed Senior Sailors’ Married Quarters Complex was declared open by the Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva at the Naval Complex Welisara today (06^th February 2020). This married quarters complex consisting of 08 houses is equipped with all modern amenities.

The four-storey complex was constructed by the Civil Engineering personnel of the Navy, utilizing naval funds. Signifying this important occasion, the Commander of the Navy planted a tree sapling on the premises as well.

The occasion was also attended by Commander Western Naval Area, Director General Civil Engineering, officers and naval personnel and their family members who are occupying in these quarters.
