Pakistan Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Zafar Mahood successfully concludes Sri Lankan tour

Concluding his official tour to Sri Lanka, the Chief of the Naval Staff of the Pakistan Navy, Admiral Zafar Mahood left the island in the morning today( 29^th January 2020).

During this tour, Admiral Zafar Mahood met with Hon. Prime Minister, Secretary Defence, Chief of Defence Staff, Commander of the Navy, Commander of the Army and Commander of the Air Force.

Further, the Pakistan Chief of the Naval Staff visited the Eastern Naval Command on 26^th January 2020. He met with the Commander Eastern Naval Area Rear Admiral Merril Wickramasinghe and Commandant Naval & Maritime Academy and held cordial discussion on matters of mutual interest. On 28^th January 2020, the Pakistan Admiral visited the Southern Naval Command and met with Commander Southern Naval Area Rear Admiral Kassapa Paul and after a cordial discussion they also exchanged mementoes.

After meeting Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva at the VIP chamber of the Katunayake International Airport, the Chief of the Naval Staff of the Pakistan Navy, Admiral Zafar Mahood left the island in the morning today( 29^th January 2020).
