Navy apprehends 02 persons for engaging fishing in a restricted area near Trincomalee harbour

The Navy, on 21^st January 2020, apprrehend 02 persons for engaging fishing in a restricted sea area Trincomalee harbour.

Further investigation revealed that the suspects are residents of Salli Sambalthive in Trincomalee, aged 23 and 48. The accused together with their belongings were handed over to the Assistant Directorate of Fisheries of Trincomalee, through the Sri Lanka Coast Guard.
