Navy renders assistance to douse fire at sawmill in Ragama

The Navy, today 21^st January 2020, rendered assistance to douse fire erupted at a sawmill located by the side of Heenkenda road in Ragama.

On receipt of a distress call of fire at a sawmill located by the side of Heenkenda road in Ragama, the Navy promptly sent out a team of firefighters along with fire engines and 01 water bowser to extinguish the blaze.

Further, the Navy remains standby to respond to any emergency situation faced by the general public, across the country.
