Navy secures several victories at the National Sailing Regatta

The National Sailing Regatta organized by the National Yacht Club was held in the seas off the Crow island in Mattakkuliya on 28^th and 29^th December 2019 and Navy Sailing Pool recorded number of victories at the event.

Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva graced the awarding ceremony as the chief guest. Representing famous yachting clubs of the country, 72 veteran players on 57 yachts participated in the regatta and the sailors of Navy Sailing Pool emerged with number of wins over the other competitors.

Accordingly, the Navy team recorded 1^st and 3^rd places of GP 14 category, 2^nd and 3^rd places of Enterprise category, 1^st and 3^rd places of Laser Standard category, 2^nd place of Laser Radial category and 1^st place of Windsurfing category.
