Captain Nimal Ranasinghe takes over command of SLNS Nandimithra

Captain (N) Nimal Ranasinghe took over the duties as the new Commanding Officer of the Fast Missile Vessel, SLNS ‘Nandimithra’ today (27^th December 2019).

The former Commanding Officer of the ship, Captain (C) Buddhika Liyanagamage officially handed over the duties to his successor at the Naval Dockyard of Trincomalee. The occasion was also attended by the Flag Officer Commanding Naval Fleet, Rear Admiral Upul De Silva. The proceedings of the formal ceremony came to a close following an inspection of divisions by the new Commanding Officer.
