Junior Sailors’ Mess in Northern Naval Command declared open by Commander of the Navy

Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva made an official visit to the Northern Naval Command on 12^th December 2019. During this visit, the Navy Commander declared open the first phase of the three-storeyed building at the Command Headquarters.

The ground floor of this three-storeyed building, which was declared open by Commander of the Navy, has been allocated for the accommodation of junior sailors, in a bid to improve their welfare facilities.

The occasion was attended by Commander Northern Naval Area, Heads of Departments and naval personnel attached to the Northern Naval Command.
