25^th Junior Naval Staff Course concludes on 06^th December

The Certificate Awarding Ceremony of the 25^th Junior Naval Staff Course was held on Friday, 06^th December at the Admiral Wasanatha Karannagoda Auditorium, Trincomalee.

The Commander Eastern Naval Area Rear Admiral Merril Wickramasinghe graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Commandant of the Naval and Maritime Academy, Cmde Prasanna Mahawithana, Director Naval Training and Directors representing respective branches of Student Officers were also in attendance along with Senior Officers from Sri Lanka Army and Sri Lanka Air Force.

A total of 22 Officers comprising of Sri Lnaka Navy,Army , Air Force and Bangladesh Navy successfully completed the course and awarded with certificates by the Chief Guest. Furthermore, following Student Officers received the awards and trophies from the Chief Guest for their outstanding performances during the course:

In addition, the Junior Naval Staff College is accredited to the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University and the Officers who fulfill the required criteria will be conferred with a Post Graduate Diploma in Defence Management.
