Navy apprehends person in possession of Kerala Cannabis

During a raid carried out by Sri Lanka Navy on the 04^th December, a person was apprehended with Kerala Cannabis in Muthur area.

Keeping with Sri Lanka Navy’s attempts to eradicate the illegal drug menace from Sri Lanka, a special raid was carried out in Muthur area where a suspicious motorbiker was inspected while on the road. During inspection, 990g of Kerala Cannabis was discovered in possession of the bike rider.

The suspect, a 27 year old resident of Pulmudei, the amount of Cannabis and the motorbike were handed over to Muthur Police station for further investigations.
