Navy held a person with ICE

Sri Lanka Navy apprehended a person with Crystal Methamphetamine (ICE) during a search conducted at Urumale area in Thalaimannar today (30^th November 2019).

Accordingly, during a search conducted at Urumale area in Thalaimannar, Navy apprehend the suspect while attempting to transport 680g of ICE on a local fishing boat.

The suspect is a resident of Urumale area in Thalaimannar and the apprehended drugs, fishing boat and the suspect were handed over to Thalaimannar Police for onward investigation.
