Interest free loan granted for 100 senior sailors

One hundred (100) senior sailors of the Sri Lanka Navy were granted interest free loan facility of five hundred thousand rupees (Rs.500,000/=) each, by the Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva at the Naval Headquarters, on 22^nd November 2019.

A total of 50.5 million rupees has been released for this stage of loan facility by Naval Benefit Fund. This interest free loan facility was launched for the senior sailors, in recognition of their long service for the Sri Lanka Navy and 2560 senior sailors have been facilitated up to now. Further, it is being progressed to provide the same loan for another 2385 senior sailors in the future.
