Navy assists to salvage a motor bike abandoned at Dandugama bridge, Ja Ela

SL Navy assisted to salvage a submerged motor bike at the Dandugama bridge in Ja Ela, today (19 November).

A suspect who had stolen a motor bike, had given a statement to Ja Ela Police that the motor bike was submerged near Dandugama bridge and Police requested the assistance of a diving team from the Navy. Accordingly, Navy dispatched a diving team attached to the Western Naval Command, to the location.

The Navy diving team salvaged the motor bike and handed it over to the Ja Ela Police.
