Navy Inter-command Table Tennis Tournament-2019

The Sri Lanka Navy Inter-command Table Tennis Tournament-2019 worked off at the indoor stadium of SLNS Nipuna in Boossa from 04^th to 08^th November. About 90 table tennis players from all naval commands represented this year’s tournament and men’s championship was won by the Afloat Command while Eastern Naval Command secured the runners-up title. Meanwhile, the women’s team of the Western Command and the women’s team of the Southern Naval Command clinched the championship and runners-up positions of women's events respectively.

Commandant Naval Infantry, Rear Admiral Fred Senavirathna graced the closing ceremony and prize giving held on 8th November, as the Chief Guest. Deputy Area Commander of Southern Naval Area and a large number of senior officers and sailors of SL Navy were also present on this occasion.
