Three persons with heroin held by the Navy

Sri Lanka Navy apprehended 03 persons with 980mg of heroin during a raid carried out in coordination with Police STF, in Rambewa on 7^th November 2019.

A suspicious motorbike had been observed during a raid carried out by North Central Naval Command in coordination with Police STF- Settikulama. while searching the bike 980mg of heroin which was being transferred for sale, was recovered in the possession of the bike riders. The suspects and the motor bike were subsequently taken into naval custody.

The 03 suspects are residents of Anuradhapura area, aged between 26 and 41. The suspects along with heroin and motorbike were handed over to Madawachchiya Police for further investigation.
