SLNA’s Holiday Bungalow ‘Sihinaya’ declared open by Commander of the Navy

The Holiday Bungalow ‘Sihinaya’ constructed by Sri Lanka Naval Association (SLNA) was declared open by Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva in Diyathalawa on 06^th November 2019.

The facility has been a long felt need for the association and the project was spearheaded by the President of SLNA, Admiral Daya Sandagiri (Rtd). This task was also supported by the Secretary of SLNA, Rear Admiral Shemal Fernando (Rtd) and the Executive Committee. The construction work got underway with financial support extended by the Sri Lanka Naval Association and the Naval Civil Engineering Staff completed it in record time.

Venerable Maha Sangha, President of SLNA, Admiral Daya Sandagiri (Rtd), Secretary of SLNA, Rear Admiral Shemal Fernando (Rtd), Director Generals of the Navy, senior officers, members of the SLNA and sailors were also present on this occasion.
