Military, Air and Naval Attaché of Embassy of the Russian Federation visits Southern Naval Command

Military, Air and Naval Attaché of Embassy of the Russian Federation in Sri Lanka, Colonel Denis I. Shkoda, visited the Southern Naval Command on 04^th November 2019.

Deputy Area Commander Southern Naval Area, Commodore Anura Danapala warmly received the visiting Military, Air and Naval Attaché of Embassy of the Russian Federation who was accompanied by Deputy Defence Attaché of Sri Lanka in Russia. The Deputy Area Commander also briefed the visiting delegation about security arrangements of the port of Hambantota and the role of Southern Naval Command.

The occasion was also attended by Port Facility Security Officer of Hambantota, Commodore Ashoka Wijesiriwardena and a group of senior officers attached to the Southern Naval Command.
