Navy Commander declares open new Operations Room at Naval Headquarters

The newly established Operations Room of the Naval Headquarters was declared open by Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva today (05^th November).

Incidentally, this new facility which has been equipped with the latest technological instruments will be the main Operations Room in the Navy.

The opening ceremony was also attended by Chief of Staff of the Navy, Rear Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne, Director General Operations and senior officers attached to the Naval Headquarters.
