Navy holds a suspicious person at Pesalei area in Mannar

Navy apprehended a suspicious person during a raid carried out at Pesalei area in Mannar on 28^th October 2019.

Accordingly, Navy had observed a suspicious person who was walking along the road, during a special raid carried out at Pesalei area in Mannar and by further search of his mobile phone few video clips which contained LTTE activities were identified. The suspect who was sharing these videos through social media channels, was taken into Naval custody.

Twenty (20) years old suspect was identified as a resident of the same area and he along with the phone was handed over to Pesalei Police for further investigation.
