Navy facilitate disabled War Heroes to worship Nagadeepa temple

Navy assisted disabled war heroes homed at "Abimansala" in Kamburupitiya, to worship Nagadeepa Rajamaha Viharaya on 26^th October 2019.

Accordingly, under the directives of Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva, Northern Naval Command provided sea transportation for the War Heroes to worship historical Nagadeepa temple. Up and down transportation from Naval jetty to Nainativu jetty was safely provided for them by a Naval craft. After worshipping the temple, War Heroes met the Chief Incumbent and the Sanganayake of Northern Province Praveenacharya Venerable Navadagala Padimakiththi Tissa Thero and the Thero bestowed merits upon War Heroes who made supreme sacrifice for the motherland and blessed for the good health of disabled War Heroes.

Meanwhile, Naval Detachment Nainativu in the Northern Naval Command had prepared lunch for War Heroes and the staff of "Abimansala" and The Navy is always concern of such meritorious activities for sacrificed and disabled War Heroes.
