Navy assists to nab two drug traffickers

SL Navy in coordination with the officials of SL Police apprehended two suspects with Kerala Cannabis in Negombo area on 26^th October 2019.

These two suspects were apprehended while their attempt to sell 900g of Kerara Cannabis, during a raid carried out in Negombo area, by Navy in coordination with Anti Organized Crime Unit of Police STF. Navy also held 2 persons who were at the location as buyers. The persons who tried to sell KG were identified as drug dealers in the area.

The suspects are residents of Negombo and Colombo areas, aged 23, 27 and 32. The amount of KG along with the suspects were handed over to Negombo Police for further investigation
