Preschool built with Navy’s assistance declared open at Weththalakeni

The newly constructed preschool at Weththakakeni area was declared open by Assistant Divisional Secretary of Wadamarachchi, Mr. P Morthy, on 23^rd October 2019.

The preschool was constructed as a part of the social responsibility project of the Sri Lanka Navy, with the labour provided by Northern Naval Command following the directives of Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Piyal De Silva and under supervision of Commander Northern Naval Area. The Assistant Divisional Secretary and people in the region expressed their gratitude to Commander of the Navy and his able organization for assisting the construction work of this building.

Naval personnel attached to Naval Deployment Weththalakeni, Officials of Divisional Secretariat of Wadamarachchi were present at the opening ceremony.
