Two divers engaged in illegal fishing held by Navy

Two divers who engaged in illegal fishing in the seas off the Presidential Secretariat Colombo, were held by Navy in the early morning on 16 October 2019.

Accordingly, these two divers who engaged in diving and illegal fishing activities were held during a search carried out in the seas off the Presidential Secretariat Colombo, by Western Naval Command. The apprehended divers along with the diving gears were handed over to Harbour Police for onward legal action.
