Navy finds few explosive items in Mandathivu area

Navy found few explosive items during a search conducted in Mandathivu area, on 15^th October 2019.

Accordingly, 120mm mortar, electric detonator and 03 safety fuses, which were buried, were recovered during a search carried out by Northern Naval Command and it is believed these items may have been abandoned during the humanitarian operations.

Further investigation on recovered items are conducted by SL Navy.
