Navy assists to apprehend a drug trafficker

Navy apprehended a drug trafficker with 95g of Kerala Cannabis during a raid carried out in coordination with Police STF, at Settipuram area in Velani, on 07^th October 2019.

Accordingly, during a raid carried out at Settipuram area in Velani by Northern Naval Command in coordination with Police STF, a suspicious motor bike had been observed and by further search this amount of KG was found in possession of the bike rider.

The suspect had been identified as a resident of Velani area aged 34. The recovered amount of KG, the suspect and the motor bike were handed over to Kayts Police for further investigation.
