Navy apprehends a person possessed 570g of Madanamodaka drugs

A person with 570g of Madanamodaka drugs was apprehended during a search carried out by Navy in coordination with Kalmunai Police at Nintavur area in Kalmunai, on 2^nd October 2019.

Accordingly, a suspious person had been observed during a search carried out by Southeastern Naval Command in coordination with Kalmunai Police at Nintavur area in Kalmunai and by further search this amount of Madanamodaka drugs packed in 39 packets were recovered in his possession. In further inquiry this person was identified as a drug dealer in the area and found Madanamodaka were being carried for sale.

The suspect with the amount of Madanamodaka drugs were handed over to Kalmunai Police for further investigation.
