Navy recovers 3.9kg of Kerala Cannabis

3.9kg of Kerala Cannabis was recovered by Navy during a raid carried out in coordination with Police STF-Manalkadu, at Nagarkovil area in Jaffna, on 1^st October 2019.

Northern Naval Command in coordination with Police STF-Manalkadu had observed a suspicious parcel and by further search this amount of KG was found.

It is suspected that the smugglers have escaped abandoning the haul of KG due to the combined operation of SL Navy and Police STF. The recovered haul of KG was handed over to Point Pedro Police for further investigation.
