Japanese Defence Attaché visits Southern Naval Command

The Defence Attaché for the Embassy of Japan in Sri Lanka, Colonel Gaku Fhukura visited the Southern Naval Command, on 1^st October 2019.

Accordingly, the Japanese Defence Attaché met the Commander Southern Naval Area Rear Admiral Kassapa Paul at the SNC headquarters and they held cordial discussions on the matters of mutual interest. Mementoes were also exchanged to mark this occasion.

Further, the Japanese Defence Attaché met Commanding Officer and Security Coordinator of Hambantota harbor, Commander Nalinda Kumara and Naval role in the security of the Hambantota international port was briefed to him.
